Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mover to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a Mover, you will be responsible for assisting the Lead Mover with various tasks, including coordinating with the team, scheduling work, and expediting urgent requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Mover with moving vehicles to recycle centers, disposal centers, and dumps.
- Coordinate with the Lead Mover to schedule work in advance of the requested date.
- Coordinate with the Lead Mover to expedite urgent and short-notice requests.
- Ensure early morning room and equipment setups are completed in advance of the requested time.
- Complete meeting room and furniture moves, setups, and resets to defined configurations.
- Complete special client event tasks such as furniture moves, setups, and resets.
- Perform light duties such as cleaning, garbage removal, and debris cleanup.
- Perform seasonal snow and ice removal at client sites.
- Assist Building Operators and Journeyperson technicians when needed.
- Disassemble furniture.
- Move large equipment on or off client sites.
Requirements
- 1-year minimum experience with moves and furniture setups is preferred.
- Valid BC driver's license is required.
