Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, entering client data into databases, and preparing medications for clients. This is a permanent position with a 75-hour bi-weekly work schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter client information into electronic databases
  • Prepare medications for clients, ensuring proper labeling and packaging
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists of Nova Scotia
  • Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English
