Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Clerk Supervisor to join our team at Camrose Motel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and leading a team of hotel clerks.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel clerks, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Coordinate and review work assignments, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Hire and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repairs as needed to ensure business continuity.
- Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring the hotel's inventory is up-to-date and sufficient.
- Free parking available for all employees.
- Support for persons with disabilities, including physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations.
- Participation in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.

- Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.

- Participates in government or community programs that support youth employment.
- Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Participates in government or community programs that support Veterans.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Veterans.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Recruits Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives.
- Assists with immediate transition needs, such as relocation and housing.
- Offers workshops, counseling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition.
- Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the civilian job market.
- Offers flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
- Participates in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
- Provides cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
- Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Participates in government or community programs that support mature workers.
- Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for mature workers.
- Offers phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
- Offers phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
- Provides workspace accommodations, such as age-appropriate ergonomic considerations.
- Offers resources to help mature workers plan their retirement.
- Participates in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.
- Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
