Job Overview

As a Site Superintendent with Qualico Canada, you will play a crucial role in directing and overseeing on-site construction activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that construction follows established design, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with trade partners and suppliers to schedule material and labor deliveries, and inspect work to ensure it meets Qualico's standards and building codes.
  • Interpret plans and specifications, identify and resolve problems, and communicate errors or discrepancies to the project management team.
  • Supervise, develop, and guide on-site team members, ensuring clear direction and safe work practices.
  • Ensure adherence to Qualico's Safety Program and relevant safety legislation, performing site safety orientations, leading regular safety meetings, and completing required reporting.
  • Meet with customers prior to possession to inspect homes and respond to inquiries or concerns, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain project schedules, complete regular progress reports, and provide updates to the project management team.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of site superintendent experience in residential construction.
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs, and construction management software.
  • Physically able to perform basic construction duties.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.

Work Conditions
