Job Title: Asset Protection Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Representative to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within retail locations
  • Compile and present evidence for court or arbitration purposes
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate Organized Retail Crime (ORC) cases
  • Build and maintain partnerships with Associate-Owners and their teams by communicating and providing training on Asset Protection policies and procedures
  • Assist Associate-Owners and their teams with incident de-escalation
  • Participate in community events
Requirements:
  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • High degree of initiative and integrity required to be successful in a dynamic environment
  • Strong collaborative skills and a willingness to support Associate-Owners
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
