At Loblaw Companies Limited, we're seeking a skilled Asset Protection Representative to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart.

As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and protection of our stores and associates.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within retail locations
  • Investigate and compile evidence for court or arbitration purposes
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate Organized Retail Crime cases
  • Build and maintain partnerships with Associate-Owners and their teams to promote Asset Protection policies and procedures
  • Participate in community events and activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Provincial Security Guard License
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • Strong collaborative skills and a willingness to support Associate-Owners
