Pharmacy Manager Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring efficient receipt, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
• Provide clinical support, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Manage inventory, schedule team members, provide training, and implement business growth strategies.
• Ensure adherence to policies and best practices related to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Requirements:
• A Canadian Pharmacist in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Completion of the BC Community Pharmacy Manager Training Program (BC only) and Opioid Agonist Treatment Compliance and Management Program (OAT-CAMPP).
• Injection Certification and at least one year of pharmacist experience.
