Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring they are clean, dry, and level.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to secure tiles in place.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a precise and professional finish.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and repair any underlying issues.
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
- Install tile strips and other flooring materials.
- 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
