Are you an experienced leader looking to take on a new challenge in airport operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager at Paladin Airport Security Services Ltd.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee our screening operations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our services, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of Screening Officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within aviation security
  • Achieve daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure operational efficiency
  • Lead and mentor Screening Officers, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend employee recognition programs
  • Apply corrective measures as needed, following the progressive discipline process
  • Compile comprehensive security incident reports and assist Screening Officers in handling operational matters
  • Perform essential administrative tasks in alignment with daily operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of work-related experience in a protective service leadership role, preferably in the aviation security industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Criminal Justice, or related field; OR two years of post-secondary education combined with supervisory/managerial experience
  • Ability to acquire Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) and eligibility for Federal Security Clearance
  • Knowledge of relevant security and employment legislation
  • Strong operational focus, ability to work under pressure, and provide creative solutions
  • Experience in managing personnel in a unionized environment
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, shift work, and attend incidents after hours
  • Strong communication, leadership, client service, and persuasive skills
  • Fluency in French is an asset
