Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle DBA to join our team, responsible for planning, designing, building, testing, and supporting database systems.
  • As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will provide technical analysis and recommendations to ensure the optimal performance and security of our database systems.
  • You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration with our applications and provide expert-level support for complex problem-solving in time-sensitive situations.
  • With a strong focus on innovation and continuous learning, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse industry leaders and contribute to the development of cutting-edge database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and support database systems using Oracle 12c and 19c.
  • Provide technical analysis and recommendations to ensure optimal database performance and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with applications.
  • Provide expert-level support for complex problem-solving in time-sensitive situations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience as an Oracle DBA in a medium to large production environment.
  • Experience with Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) for clustering and high availability (HA).
  • Experience with Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for storage management.
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard (single instance) for HA, data protection, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong awareness and knowledge of database security and auditing practices.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 12 and 13).
  • Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation.
