About the Role

This senior-level position involves overseeing all financial operations of the company, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring the financial health and growth of the organization. You will report directly to the President and work closely with the CFO and other senior executives to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial information for stakeholders.
  • Evaluate current financial processes and make continuous improvements to support corporate and internal management needs.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities to align with business objectives and drive growth.
  • Develop and manage annual business plans according to corporate guidelines.
  • Manage monthly internal financial forecasts and quarterly forecasts to Corporate.
  • Oversee accounting staff/Controller and ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict data protection standards.
  • Focus on forward cash flow planning to ensure the company's liquidity and financial stability.
  • Provide timely financial information and guidance to management teams to enable informed business decisions.
  • Prepare timely financial reports, cost analysis, and interpret financial information for senior management and corporate.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on year-end reviews and special projects.
  • Ensure Capital expenditure approval and maintain an appropriate level of capital investment within approved budgets.
  • Participate in the annual strategic planning process.
  • Identify and manage financial risks associated with the business.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in cash management, capital expenditures, planning, and budgeting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, team player, accuracy, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems and strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience with Cost accounting.
  • Sound judgment, innovation, and ability to make quick and effective decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and maintain high levels of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Current knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

Location: The salary range is estimated based on industry standards and location factors.
