About the Job

The Director of Finance is a key role within our client's finance team. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing guidance on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting. Your expertise will drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting activities, including financial reporting and treasury management.
  • Evaluate current financial reporting and implement improvements to support corporate and internal management needs.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities and lead annual business planning processes according to corporate guidelines.
  • Manage monthly internal financial forecasts and quarterly forecasts to Corporate.
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting staff, ensuring compliance with corporate, accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Work closely with senior executives to provide timely information and guidance on managing the business.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Cash management experience.
  • Ability to analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems.
