About the Role

The Senior Business Systems Analyst role is a critical position that intersects business, technology, and user requirements. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with business stakeholders to elicit requirements that align with enterprise goals and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and operational management of related systems
  • Break down larger projects into more granular, prioritized components that may be released individually
  • Articulate business requirements to support development, QA, and change management activities for new product feature implementation
  • Coordinate with other delivery teams, including Release Management, PMO, Enterprise Architecture, Software Development, QA, Deployment Management, Security, and Defect Management
  • Work closely with application development and quality assurance team members during all stages of the system development life cycle
  • Maintain a broad knowledge base of products that support Scotiabank's business, especially those that are advisor or operations supporting
Requirements
  • A University degree with a business, engineering, or computer science focus, or equivalent educational/professional experience and/or qualifications
  • Experience working on large program/project initiatives with technology and/or technology components
