Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team at SPEEEL. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the overall well-being of children.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence in children.
  • Assist in keeping records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
