Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with major gift donors, members, and supporters, and developing strategic plans to increase giving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and steward major gift donors, members, and supporters to meet or exceed annual fundraising goals;
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase giving and build a robust pipeline of potential donors;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and initiatives;
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new fundraising opportunities;
  • Collaborate with the Development team to ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field;
  • Proven track record of success in major gifts fundraising;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives;
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as business, communications, or non-profit management.
