Job Title: Retail Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shop Manager to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve operational excellence and maintain a positive store environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the pet care industry
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related field an asset
