Job Title: Welder

KWIK SIGNS is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify metal parts and products.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal to ensure precise and accurate results.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move and position metal parts and products.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Work Environment:

The Welder will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.

English.

35 hours per week.
