Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at KWIK SIGNS. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ability to sit, stand for extended periods, and work overtime is required.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
