Job Title: Welder

KWIK SIGNS is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify metal parts and products.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal to ensure precise and accurate results.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) and determine weldability of materials to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move and position metal parts and products.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure optimal performance.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Standing for extended periods and overtime required.

KWIK SIGNS offers a permanent position with 35 hours per week and English as the primary work language.
