Job Description:

Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to lead our client's Specialty Services division. In this role, you will be responsible for creating business opportunities, building relationships, and driving sales growth in the specialty services market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all sales and business development efforts for the company in the Specialty Services segments.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities.
  • Support deal structure and pricing with appropriate business value/margin analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
  • Develop segment strategies and positions by analyzing market intelligence.
  • Leverage and develop relationships with customers and prospective customers, ensuring long-term satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in produce background (citrus, grapes, kiwis, etc.).
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within Canada and internationally.
