About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at HIMCAN CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit production reports to management on a regular basis.
    • Coordinate and maintain accurate records of project activities, including labor hours, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled construction professionals.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, and construction.
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring that budgets are met.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve project goals.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a construction-related role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Work Term
    • Permanent position.
