Job Title: HSSE Advisor II

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled HSSE Advisor II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective QHSSE strategies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure QHSSE standards are met and maintained.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain QHSSE documentation, including project execution plans, emergency response plans, and quality plans.
  • Provide training and support to employees on QHSSE policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on QHSSE performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without restrictions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university level education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a role related to QHSSE.
  • Experience in the offshore energy, marine services, and/or survey industry is highly desirable.
  • ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 internal auditor certifications are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continual improvement of QHSSE matters.
  • Ability to work primarily in an office setting, with occasional travel for site visits, inspections, and client meetings.
