About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Municipal Design Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As an employee-owned company, we foster a culture where our people can thrive and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project engineering and technical expertise on municipal linear projects.
  • Carry out preliminary and detailed designs, including cost estimates and contract documents.
  • Tendering and supporting contract administration staff, as well as coordinating studies and assessments.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, utility companies, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, drafting, and support staff to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • A P.Eng designation and 5-10 years' experience in municipal design engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation, as well as local design and construction standards.
  • Experience working in Ontario and familiarity with provincial road design guidelines.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Superior English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
