About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to join our team at Prospect St. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the department team to achieve sales targets and improve customer experience through effective inventory management, active selling behaviors, and exceptional customer service.
  • Model and coach team members to improve their selling capabilities, provide ongoing feedback, and support performance gaps.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with the team, lead effective Shift Starter meetings, and train sessions.
  • Provide leadership to the team, problem-solve, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, exemplifying Mark's leadership and culture.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop department teams and store teams.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Superior training and mentoring skills.
  • 3-5 years retail experience required.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed.
  • Basic computer skills required.
