At Smittys Restaurant & Lounge, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, tracking key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports, communicating key findings and recommendations to management.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
