Production Utility Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Utility Specialist to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and prepare supplies and packaging materials to workstations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Assist with the movement of finished goods, utilizing forklift equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the mezzanine area, to ensure efficient workflow and minimize waste.
  • Remove unused materials from the floor, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Provide break relief at workstations, ensuring seamless coverage during peak periods.
  • Return unused raw materials to their designated storage locations, ensuring they are properly packaged and free from contamination.
  • Prepare materials for the incoming shift, including restocking and reorganizing supplies as needed.
  • Conduct production counts and enter production data into the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform other responsibilities as defined in operating procedures or directed by the Supervisor or Lead Hand.

Requirements:

  • Work with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
  • possess a good understanding of product codes and packaging specifications.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Demonstrate good mathematical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have a basic understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Be proficient in basic computer and data entry skills, with the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Hold a valid forklift operator license.
  • Have 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, with a proven track record of adaptability and willingness to learn.
