About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at SUSHI JET ASIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
