About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial planning services to our clients, identifying opportunities to grow our business, and developing strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of client financial plans, ensuring that they remain aligned with their changing needs and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow our business through referrals, new business development, and cross-selling of our products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service to ensure their long-term satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers, product specialists, and other financial advisors, to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product developments to ensure that our clients receive the best possible advice and service.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field, such as finance, business, or economics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including investments, insurance, and retirement planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
