Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to provide care and assistance to an elderly individual in a temporary position. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week and will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and maintaining a safe and clean home environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist with feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and personal care
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Initiative, organized, reliability, team player, patience, and honesty
Work Environment

The work site environment is non-smoking, and the work setting is in the employer's home.
