Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Process Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Process Technician to join our team at 1823 Consulting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment systems, ensuring the production of high-quality water for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain water treatment systems, including disinfection, oxidation, and pumping systems.
  • Read blueprints and technical documents to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Collect and test water samples for chemical and bacterial content, and analyze results to ensure water quality meets regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to customer complaints and provide technical support to resolve water quality issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in water treatment operations and maintenance.
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as environmental science or engineering.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
