About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at DB Diesel & Mobile Service Ltd. As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced technicians in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Help with the repair and diagnosis of diesel engines and heavy equipment
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Work Environment

As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy equipment and diesel engines. You will be exposed to noisy and dusty conditions, and will be required to lift and move heavy objects.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
