Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at DB Diesel & Mobile Service Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine problems
  • Assist in the installation and repair of emission control systems
  • Test and inspect repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Demands
  • Physically demanding role requiring frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
