Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at QUICK SOLUTION DIESEL REPAIR LTD. The successful candidate will assist our experienced mechanics in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing various tasks related to equipment maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Assist in cleaning machines and work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is required.
