Key Responsibilities- We implement proprietary software solutions and tackle complex business problems for diverse clients in the fire and emergency services sector.
- You'll work closely with clients to understand their unique data needs, bringing it into our platform, and delivering in-depth analyses highlighting root causes and opportunities.
- As part of our project lifecycle, you'll gather and interpret fire and EMS data from various sources, including client tools, open databases, and flat files. You'll be responsible for data cleaning, summary analysis, and implementing our Darkhorse Emergency Platform.
- Validation of findings and storytelling in the data require a mix of experience, expertise, and creativity to distinguish between correct signals and data errors.
- You'll create stunning data visualizations using QGIS, Jupyter Notebooks, or Excel to clarify findings and present them effectively.
- Succinct presentations and reports are crucial, often requiring translation of analyses into readable, actionable content.
- You'll translate client needs into achievable solutions, leveraging your understanding of the industry and client challenges to provide actionable recommendations.
- Improving our tools and processes is essential, with a focus on continually searching for better methods and optimizing our ecosystem.
- Maintaining strong client relationships is vital, as you become the trusted go-to person for our clients.

- Creativity in interpreting and analyzing data, with the ability to explore alternative sources when faced with dead-end approaches.
- Experience in the Fire and Emergency Management industry, familiarity with municipal datasets, city planning, land use zoning, etc., or a strong desire to learn and adapt quickly.
