Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Evaluate daily store performance and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and organize store layouts, visual merchandising, and promotional displays to maximize sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage staff schedules, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped to meet store goals.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust store offerings accordingly.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
  • Oversee payroll administration, including processing payrolls, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure they are meeting store goals and expectations.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of retail management experience, preferably in a convenience store or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and managing staff effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
