Job Summary
The Production Associate PO5 is responsible for reviewing and verifying production documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role ensures alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review production documentation against Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SOPs to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Chemical Operators to coach them on good documentation practices and drive continuous compliance improvements.
- Report documentation errors and deviations, including those discovered during review.
- Initiate and investigate deviations, track trends, and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Work with Technology Operations and Engineering to simplify execution instructions and production equipment.
- Collaborate with QA Auditors to reconcile deviations and documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain and update relevant databases, including emissions, equipment cleaning, and SAP phase times.
- Complete periodic SOP review and monitoring.
- Ensure safety procedures align with operational SOPs and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; College diploma or University degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, or Engineering is an asset.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good command of the English language; ability to communicate effectively; proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel; knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements is an asset.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience working in an API environment; experience in investigations is strongly preferred.
