Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Lead to join our Private Wealth team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic communications plans that support the business priorities of BMO Private Wealth.

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, schedule, and execute communications strategies for designated internal and external audiences. This includes researching, writing, editing, and project managing communication initiatives to support a broad range of projects and activities across multiple audiences and channels.

You will provide strategic communications counsel and exceptional service to designated partners, working closely with them to understand their needs and develop tailored communications solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring all messaging and strategies align with brand standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, providing exceptional service and tailored communications solutions.
  • Lead complex communications strategies and complete task-based assignments, demonstrating superior strength in writing and editing.
  • Create, manage, and execute communication strategies for various stakeholders, showcasing excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of communications initiatives, making recommendations for improvements based on insights, best practices, and business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a communications-related position, preferably within a financial services organization.
  • Degree in Journalism or Communications.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course or other industry credentials is an asset.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $126,000, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. In addition, our total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards. We also offer health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
