Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full Time Data Centre Security Guard in Barrie. This role offers a unique opportunity for career advancement and professional growth in the security industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate access control to the building and sensitive areas of the facility
- Conduct exhaustive foot patrols of the facility and report any issues through proper channels
- Maintain accurate access and equipment logs
- Provide escorts for contractors into restricted areas
- Test building security and fire systems
- Investigate alarms and report incidents
- Respond to emergencies
- Monitor CCTV systems
Requirements:
- Valid security license
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification from a WSIB-approved provider
- Availability to work a continental rotation schedule with two weeks of days and two weeks of nights
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Ability to complete regular foot patrols
- Ability to articulate motivation for applying and working in the security field
