Security Officer

At Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide risk mitigation and emergency response services to the facility
- Collaborate with Occupational Health and Human Resources to deliver the Workplace Violence & Harassment Program
- Act as the first responder to emergency situations, taking control of the scene and leading the coordination of the emergency
- Monitor access control, CCTV, and alarms to ensure the security of the facility
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to deal with the general public
- Minimum Grade 12 education and a Post-Secondary School Diploma in Law and Security or a graduate of a recognized Police Training facility
- Maintains a valid Security Guard License
- Previous experience in dealing with the general public, security systems, training, and healthcare infrastructure an asset
