Electrical Systems Specialist for Aircraft Maintenance

Morson Canada is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at a leading maintenance organization specializing in aircraft maintenance and modifications.
This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $120,000 per year, paid personal days, group health insurance, voluntary pension plan, and fixed work schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical input for commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Create documentation that meets production and installation timelines, including electrical and avionics system designs
- Support system installations and modifications with on-site or remote troubleshooting
- Conduct technical research and present findings for technical manuals and system guides
- Assess subcontractor quotes and technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Avionics Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in avionics engineering, including knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS)
- Comprehensive understanding of RTCA DO, ARINC, and TSO standards
- Advanced proficiency in English and French
- Skilled in MS Office and AutoCAD
Preferred Assets:
- Experience with aircraft system interfaces
- Background in project management
- Technical writing expertise
- Familiarity with AS9000 or ISO 9001 Quality Assurance systems
- TCCA 'E' License
