About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer and Project Manager to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will lead teams working on industrial projects, drawing on your expertise to understand client needs and define project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of proposals and participate in business development activities.
  • Work on various stages of major projects, depending on the level of engineering involved.
  • Lead and carry out electrical engineering projects for industrial clients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary projects as the person in charge of the electrical portion.
  • Oversee the preparation of plans and specifications, procurement packages, material takeoffs and studies, as well as the drafting of technical study reports.
  • Monitor the electrical engineering project team, budgets, schedules, design reviews and deliverable quality as well as health and safety.
  • Check performance indicators and share results with clients on a monthly basis.
  • Present change notices to clients and define additional mandates with them.
  • Offer coaching to project leaders to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • At least ten years of professional experience in industrial and multidisciplinary projects.
  • Technical and functional skills in industrial power distribution (MV and LV).
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French).
