About the Role

We are seeking an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering to join our team as a Trainee. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on various stages of high-, medium-, and low-voltage project execution, from proposal to site commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of power systems for major detailed engineering projects
  • Produce engineering deliverables such as electrical plans and diagrams
  • Participate in protective relay programming and system studies
  • Coordinate electrical engineering with other disciplines
  • Perform site surveys and site monitoring during the construction phase
  • Participate in pre-operational verifications and commissioning of electrical equipment

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Ability to read plans and diagrams
  • Available to stay on site
