Auto Body Prepper & Painters are involved throughout the collision repair process. This team member communicates with management and other team members to plan and execute repair and painting jobs on a variety of vehicles. The position may require you to have knowledge of specialty painting techniques as well as collision repair capabilities.

Job Duties:

- Removing and installing bolt-on components such as hoods, deck lids, fenders, trim, doors, glass and interior components.
- commitment to safe work habits.
- Repairing small dents in addition to wet sanding and buffing vehicles.
- Multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Select the proper colors and substances for the project.
- Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product.
- Must follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
- Red Seal certificate an asset.
- Minimum one-year experience prepping and priming vehicles for paint
- Current knowledge of the annual changes manufacturers makes in plastics, electronics, metals, supplemental restraints and paints
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- First Aid and WHMIS an asset
Manual dexterity and good colour vision an asset
- Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment
