Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Labourer to join our team at Josling Farms Inc. as a Field Crop Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops, as well as performing various tasks related to crop maintenance and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to ensure optimal crop growth
  • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure high-quality produce
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to meet production targets
  • Weed crops to prevent competition for resources
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum yield
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production
Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a rural area, outdoors, and will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions. The work environment will be physically demanding, and the candidate must be able to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Language and Hours

The work language is English, and the candidate will be required to work 40 to 50 hours per week. The work term is seasonal, and the candidate must be able to commit to the full season.
