Job Summary

The In-School Mentoring Coordinator will be responsible for managing the In-School Mentoring program, including recruitment, screening, training, and supervision of volunteers and mentees. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Program Manager and will be responsible for administrative duties associated with managing a caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers and mentees
  • Liaise with school administrators, teachers, and school personnel to deliver programming
  • Manage a caseload and perform administrative duties
  • Ensure adherence to National Standards while performing casework duties

Requirements

  • Diploma in the social service field or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in youth-focused social services
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite applications
  • Working knowledge of client records management systems
  • Current Class 5 Drivers' License with business insurance and 3 million liability coverage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth, volunteer management, and/or non-profit sector
  • Second language proficiency
