Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at The Learning Child Services Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing engaging and educational programs for children aged 3 months to 12 years. Your expertise will help us create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Child Assessment and Planning: Conduct regular assessments to identify children's strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs, and develop personalized learning plans to support their growth and development.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train early childhood educators and assistants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support for children's learning and development.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Ordering: Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of daycare equipment, and order supplies and materials as needed to support program delivery.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, and supervisors as required.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, and implement policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in early childhood education, with a proven track record of designing and implementing high-quality educational programs.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3), Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate for this position.
