We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Generalist to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a Warehouse Generalist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products, equipment, and materials within our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, to move products and materials throughout the facility.
- Receive, store, and ship products in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards.
- Perform daily forklift maintenance and complete check sheets to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Monitor battery charge and maintain and clean batteries as needed.
- Alert supervisors to any issues with products or materials and await directions to rectify the problem.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse at the end of each shift or as needed.
- Ability to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet identification numbers.
- Basic math skills and ability to understand instructions in English.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit or up to 100 Fahrenheit while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
