We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller Assistant to join our team at Matteo Lighting Inc.
The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, with a strong background in MS Excel, Quick Books, and MS Office.
As a Financial Controller Assistant, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining financial records, and establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
You will also be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
In addition, you will prepare tax returns and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all financial transactions.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
You will be working 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract, and will be entitled to dental and health care plans.
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
