Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Consultant, Professional Practices to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, developing, delivering, and monitoring technical training content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training needs assessments and create training materials to support the training and skills development of Internal Audit employees.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Practices Centre team members and audit team experts to curate or develop training content.
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports.
  • Coordinate office training and education, including new hire training, and monitor mandatory training completion.
  • Support the administration of the CIBC CPA Pre-approved Rotational Program and execute additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 4 years' experience in a learning and development department or delivering training on topics related to risk assessment, internal controls, audit procedures, and internal audit standards.
  • Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Adult Education, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex concepts to audiences with varying degrees of knowledge.
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage timelines, multiple projects, milestones, and critical paths.
