Job Title: VP Software Engineering F/H

At Stonewood Group Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Software Engineering to lead our product development team. As a key member of our executive management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the product development team, aligning their activities with the company's goals and strategic direction.
  • Provide overall leadership in Engineering to achieve corporate milestones.
  • Oversee and manage outsourced suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, and Product Management to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Establish key indicators for competitive performance in completion of development projects.
  • Build and facilitate strong relationships with other areas of the company, technical partners, and customers.
  • Manage independent R&D centers of excellence, providing guidance and direction in support of customer demands and longer-term product direction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in software development, cloud computing, social networking, and emerging trends in the broadcast industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-centric approach, and ability to engage and motivate a highly skilled technical team.
  • Demonstrated success in aggressive product development life cycle management in a technology-driven organization.
  • Experience in implementing best practices in operations, quality systems, and engineering in an environment with high customer demand.
